Theo Ellison is a London based artist whose work looks to tease out our vulnerability to Romanticised narratives, exploring how it shapes our relationship with nature, technology and nostalgia. He uses video, sound, 3D-printed sculpture and text to both indulge and unfold the layers of illusion that surround how we construct and consume those narratives; testing the boundaries between pathos and humour, observation and voyeurism, and nature and artifice. His work has been exhibited at Turner Contemporary, Arebyte Gallery, Quad, Palfrey Gallery, Saatchi Gallery, and GIANT Gallery, among others.

Sacha Craddock is an independent art critic, writer & curator based in London. Craddock is Co-Founder of ArtSchool Palestine and the Contemporary Art Award and a council member of the Abbey Awards in Painting at the British School at Rome. She is a Trustee of the Shelagh Cluett Trust and President of the International Association of Art Critics AICA UK, the British section of International Association of Art Critics. She was Chair of the Board of New Contemporaries and selection process from 1996 until December 2021. (Image courtesy of Sacha Craddock. Photo by Isabelle Young)
